Sat Nav dreams about supple joints . . .

Sat Nav dreams about supple joints. Not hers, or mine, but Katie's.

Let me explain.

Katie is our aged horse, a true veteran of the equine species who is fast approaching 30 years of age. Katie enjoys her retirement, but suffers from chronic arthritis - the very thing that forced her into retirement in her mid 20's.

Katie has wintered well, yet as soon as the weather improved she started to show signs of worsening stiffness, and discomfort. Was this the beginning of the end for her?

Quite by chance Gloria (Sat Nav) was offered the opportunity from Gabriela Lerner of Collarways www.collarways.com to trial a joint supplement called Cetyl M. After Gloria learned about the positive effects of Cetyl M, she felt very positive about giving it a try with Katie on a trial specifically for the equine veteran.
(I'm thinking about sprinkling some on Sat Nav's cornflakes - shhhhhhhh! Don't tell her ;-)

After a discussion with our vet, we began Katie's trial on 20th May 2009.

Cetyl M is described as palatable - immediately Katie loved it's taste. It is flavoured with molasses and apple, and she eats it readily in her food, or out of our hands.
No problems tempting a fussy eater then!

Within a week we started to see signs of improvement.

Today, day 19, the improvement is remarkable. Her hind leg joints are actually flexible now, not fused, and there is a bounce in her step that hasn't been there for a long time. She is blooming.

Next week we will decrease Katie's intake to the maintenance dose recommendation. Shortly after that I will publish a blog to report on her progress.

Cetyl M is a natural product. It contains 100% plant based cetyl myristoleate derived from the Kombo nut.

For a limited time Collarways are offering a 20% discount off the RRP.

If you are thinking about trying or changing a joint supplement, then please try Cetyl M.

Up to date we have had an excellent result, and recommend it for any equines suffering from joint stiffness regardless of age, but for your golden oldies it's a must!
